2. How long have you been making websites?

i've been making websites since 2023!

3. And what got you into the hobby?

like many other who have joined the indie web in the recent years, spacehey!

4. What kind of website are you most interested in?

really any site within the indie web (or sites by nerds)

5. What's your workflow? Do you plan your websites out thoroughly or do you come up with the design as you go along?

it is all very much go with the flow

errrrrrrrrm really the entirety of neocities and nekoweb

7. What's your favourite part about making websites?

i love learning new css things and finding more ways to implement javascript :3

8. And the thing you struggle with the most?

browser compatibility </3

9. Do you keep the same layout on all of your pages? Or do you use different ones?

i use the same layout, but i'd like to experiment with different layouts someday...

10. How confident are you with CSS?

confident that i can make a website with css? very. but confident that my css is vaild? not at all :sob:

11. Do you know how to correctly use <dl>?

errrrmmm i've seen it but i don't really know how to use it no

12. What is your favourite HTML element?

i usually hop back and forth between html and css, but html first always

yes of course, as you can see my main color is #8a2be2 ^^

17. Are you more focused on content or design?

as much as i would love to say content, design fully wins always

i do! i got it in may 2025 and my father pays for it :3 (thank you father <3)

19. What do you think of nostalgia-focused or "retro" websites?

ehhhhh, depends on who makes it

20. Is your HTML valid? Do you even check?

21. What are your opinion on buttons and banners?

oh i love them lots, i've made buttons for at least 3 different ppl

oh i love them

i'd stick to the same main color, but i think everything else would be subject to change

oh allllll the time, i see someone else's design and wish it was mine sometimes tbh

i use vscode (i know, i know, i don't like it either trust me)

most are on my server, but all graphics are hosted on imgbb

28. This might not be relevant to you, but what's your opinion on the Neocities vs. Nekoweb debate?

i think they're both fine, but neocities has definitely been lacking...

29. How much server space would you estimate your main website takes up?

uhhhhhh lemme check! ...literally only 88mb what the hell

oh i have to

31. Do you prefer simple or highly visual websites?

i like both, but i do love me some visuals

i stick to #8a2be2, not just because i love purple, but also just because it's easier LOL

33. Have you ever thought about quitting? Why?

i've definitely taken long breaks, but i don't know that i'd ever fully quit

i do! most are from crosstalk, but a know a few people from nekoweb/neocities :]

35. Do people in your real life know about your website?

yeah! i've always shown the teachers i get close with, my friends, and of course my parents

i have been lately, but on average i update once or twice a month

37. And the overall design, do you change that much? Why or why not?

i really don't, unless it's been a while and its become an eyesore lol

38. Is your website more you-focused, hobby-focused, or outside world-focused?

it's very me focused, but i make room for my interests somewhat

i wish! a part of me would love to be a frontend dev, but my parents have always said that doing what you love as a job isn't always great :/

i am jobless rn :yippee: but i know i need to get one soon because monee

only at school because of the state-wide phone ban (screw you hochul)

i do! all on the socials i use are on my site :]

i use discord OUGHHHH but i also use windows live messenger with crosstalk

oh i just fuckin yap about whatever at this point

i present my true self to an extent

it's fine, i have no complaints

do NOT use float to structure your layout (cough cough RYNI)

css grid <3

i use semantic html for the main structure, but generic for everything else :p

53. Do you consider different browsers?

uhm. not really LOL sorry

54. Speaking of, what's your preferred browser? Convince your readers why they should use it.

i like opera gx, but genuinely do not use it opera lwk sucks, i just have it for the whimsy

i think it's really the best option for people that NEED windows

i love them!! as of march 2026 i'm in two ^^

i do! i just love to see the passion and interest of that shrine :]

it certainly is! half of the people at my school hardly even know what html is :kek:

i like my website how it is tbh. i'd love to add a backend at some point but besides that it's fine!

i'm kinda an artist? i don't do a whole ton of art outside of school, but i still enjoy making art :3

oooooo probs w3schools for coding, glitter graphics for graphics

take your time. and do a shit ton of googling LOL

there are some things i hard code, otherwise it's all css baybeee

they're great for compatibilty, but what a pain.

layouts ALWAYS need stuff in them

i'd love to! idk what i'd do, but it's defo a cool concept

YES YES YES YES I LOVE TECH i have a few mp3 players, a dell dimension 3000 (pentium 4 <3), quite a few consoles, but i aspire to have sooooo much more someday... (clara u better watch urself ehehehehehe /j)

uh pretty much all day if i'm not at school

87. When it comes to your website, who is your target audience?

really anyone, i don't care if you're 80 or a literal fetus, i want everyone to enjoy my site ^^

uh no

i tried learning c++ (i exploded) and i know a bit of python from comp sci, but thats it really

i hate them, make your own damn site (or pay someone to!)

i think i'm very much a loser, but i've had quite a few people online how cool they think i am so i guess that's something (thanks guys you're cool too)

oh definitely, that's why i started my blog over :kek:

i would definitely try to leave an archive, but i know that it's already being archived by the internet archive so that's cool!

i'm not too revealing, since i am a minor and all.

98. Are you willing to reveal who your best online friend is, and/or if they have a website?

i have a few actually (sorry i don't pick favorites) some of my friends are jarhead, ryni, epicness, and savy! (but also hi to all of my other crosstalk friends with websites ^^)

eh, when i feel like it
